This 80% dark chocolate has always been our "signature blend." Dark Star is arguably the Grateful Dead's most explorative musical launch pad. No two versions were ever the same. It defined the concept of improvisational rock & roll. This concept was the inspiration for this bar. It has gone through iteration after iteration since it's inception. Using the finest beans at our disposal we have tried to create a delicate balance between flavors that combine into a symphony of taste. Some versions have been short while others can last for a very long time. The current version is akin to the infamous Dark Star performed on May 11, 1972 at Civic Hall in Rotterdam. Netherlands. It is a long finish very deep and complex piece with beans from Madagascar, Venezuela, and a touch of Peru. 2.5oz of chocolate.
